As one of the longest-running landscape irrigation companies we’ve designed and installed some of the world’s most complex landscape irrigation systems. We have proven expertise in large residential estates, housing developments, small businesses, and large corporate campuses. No project is too big or too complicated.
Irri Tech was one of the first irrigation companies in the country to design, install, and operate a computerized irrigation control system for a project. This was one of the largest and most sophisticated landscape irrigation systems using a single water supply in the world. It is a product of the technical expertise of Irri Tech’s staff. Due to the emphasis on water conservation, the entire system was computerized and equipped with its own weather station. This computerized system and weather station monitored and adjusted the watering program so well that water consumption was reduced by over 1 million gallons of water per night during the peak watering season.

Casey Morris
With over 26 years in the construction industry, Casey has played an important role at IRRI-TECH since 2004. Casey holds Texas Irrigator License LI# 21519 and BPAT LI# 9655. Over the years Casey has acquired extensive experience in the irrigation industry in both design and installation, including pumps, wells, and water features utilizing various water sources. In 2023 Casey acquired Irri-Tech of Texas from Marvin Prestridge and Steve Heidman and is looking forward to leading the now renamed Irri Tech, LLC into the future.
Paul Reich
Paul was brought on to the IRRI TECH team in 2017 and holds Texas Irrigator License #LI 7839 and is OSHA 40 certified. Paul is involved in the management and oversight of the day-to-day operations of the construction department as well as working in the estimating department. Paul has been in the green industry since 1997 and his experience before Irri-Tech includes landscaping, hardscape & retaining wall installations, athletic field turf management and water feature installations.
Jose Rangel
Jose started with IRRI-TECH in 2012 as the service manager and holds Texas Irrigator License #LI 7086 and BPAT LI# 8194. Jose’s responsibilities include estimating, scheduling, and billing for all service crews. Before IRRI-TECH, Jose started in the landscape industry in 1998 as an irrigation technician performing irrigation system inspections, troubleshooting and repairs. Jose is trained in backflow assembly, inspection and repair. He has training in the installation and programming of smart irrigation equipment and programming web-based irrigation control systems. Jose also has training and experience with evaluating existing irrigation systems and how to modify to maximize water efficiency.
Marvin Prestridge
Marvin has been with IRRI TECH since 1975 and holds Texas Irrigator License #846. Marvin started in the irrigation industry as an irrigation designer for the Weathermatic division of Telsco Industries in 1973. In 1975 Marvin began working as an irrigation designer for Dallas Weathermatic, soon to be IRRI TECH Corporation. In 1983, Marvin was promoted to Director of Irrigation Design for IRRI TECH Corporation. In 1984 Marvin served the irrigation industry as President of the Texas Turf and Irrigation Association. In 1990 Marvin was appointed to Vice President of IRRI TECH Corporation. As John Heidman prepared to retire Marvin was elevated to President of IRRI TECH Corporation in 2004. In 2007, Marvin and Steve Heidman took over ownership of IRRI TECH Corporation and changed the name to IRRI TECH of Texas, LLC. After 16 years as owners Steve and Marvin sold the company to Casey Morris, an employee with the company for 19 years, in 2023. Marvin and Steve will continue to be associated with Irri Tech LLC as consultants to assist with the transition to the new ownership. Marvin also plans to continue working with his current clients on existing and future projects during the transition process.
Steve Heidman
Steve started in IRRI TECH Corporation’s service department in the summers during high school. After graduating college Steve began working for the company full time as an estimator in 1993 and holds Texas Irrigator License #5148. Steve was promoted to Manager of the estimating department in 1996. In the year 2000 Steve was promoted to Vice President of the company. In 2007 Steve and Marvin Prestridge took ownership of IRRI TECH Corporation and changed the name to Irri-Tech of Texas. After 16 years as owners Steve and Marvin sold the company to Casey Morris, an employee with the company for 19 years, in 2023. Marvin and Steve will continue to be associated with Irri Tech LLC as consultants to assist with the transition to the new ownership. Steve also plans to continue working with his current clients on existing and future projects during the transition process.

We carry automobile, general liability, and workers compensation insurance that exceeds the minimum required limits set by the State of Texas. Each employee, including all support staff, executives, and officers, is covered by our workers compensation policy. Our excess umbrella liability policy provides additional coverage beyond the limits of our standard policies. You’re protected any time a staff member is on your site or in your facility.
